BT 20 Season 12: Week 1

Post by aftershock9 on Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:50 am

N88 XI v Portugal_XI (3530345)
Date: 03/03/2009 12:30
Ground: N88 XI CG

I'm up against a div 3 sri lankan opponent. Will be sending out my first team to try to cause and upset. Definitely going into the match as the underdogs.

Good Luck all!

team elite v Sky Raptors (3547107)
Date: 03/03/2009 12:30
Ground: team elite CG

It sucks to be away. Plus I'm playing against an unused team.

Played a match and received £30,763 in gate receipts

Welcome to Zion Oval for the match between Matrix_xfx and tonk_it.

We can tell you that tonk_it won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

0.1 W Glazier to Hogg
Dennis goes up with a big shout for an edge. It's been given! That must have been the faintest of nicks.

what a way to start!

Loss by 100 runs.

His top order rating was Masterful - no wonder my bowlers had no chance right from the outset

got smashed last night, bowled out for 81, they made it with no wickets down, but when ya look at the match report, i geuss it makes sense that i lost by a fair bit.

Chumberlee Select XI Bruthen Bandits
Top Order: proficient mediocre
Middle Order: mediocre woeful
Lower Order: worthless worthless
Seam Bowling: respectable woeful
Spin Bowling: remarkable feeble
Fielding: woeful woeful

not to worry, looking at tonights game, probably will get the same result.
quick question, may be a silly one as well, but do bt20 affect sponsors and members confidence?
