FRIENDLIES THREAD

Post by Goodvibrater on Mon Mar 23, 2009 8:55 am

No-one had made one yet, and I couldn't find the forum for it, so here is. I was inspired by my team yesterday, I was dumb and accidentally played my duds and I was very happy when I won by 6 wickets even though this was the difference in the reporters summary (on a cracked pitch):

Reporter's Summary
Bubbles best Axe Wielding Maniacs
Top Order: respectable mediocre
Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: competent feeble
Spin Bowling: feeble useless
Fielding: woeful abysmal

MOTM: Lennox

He beat me convincingly in everything, and I was still better. I just rock at orders Razz

nice, good on ya. I played my mate from round the corner just for bragging rights, he won the toss and batted on a hard and fast track. it was always going to be a run fest, we both had our strongest teams in as we wanted to prove who had the better team, he made 298 off his 50 overs only 4 down after being 3 fa 89. My team managed to scramble over the line with 2 overs to go, reaching, 3 fa 300. so i got into him a little bit but it's all good.

good idea with the forum as well, i was looking for somewhere to write about my fiendly being played. Smile

I'm playing the team Hubbas this week. Its a little tournie me, Sky Raptors, Hubbas and Bubbles Best are having. I think (even if others disagree) I am the best in there. I've won 2/3 games and I'm playing the favourite who'll want to bounce back from 2/2 defeats :S. I'm pumped, will be playing my best team after playing my duds last week and winning Very Happy

i am in the BCC (battrick cost cutter) tournament.

I am in the league where players wages can't be higher that 10k.

So this week i am just trying out which team i must play. Then in full swing from next week

sounds like a good idea. in my comp, my first game of it was a lost, only putting 250 on the board was not enough not to worry, and when one of your bowlers goes for 90 of 9 overs thats not gonna help, not to worry.

Welcome to Zion Oval for the match between Matrix_xfx and Ruislip Victoria CC.

We can tell you that Matrix_xfx won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

The players are off the field for the break between innings.

End of Over 48: 176-10, runrate=3.67
Paul 8-3-23-3
Glazier* 0 (3 balls)

Now hope my bowlers can do the same damage!
