A few new extra's have come available for our forum.
I want to know what you guys think of us implementing it.

I will play around with it and see if you guys like it.

Still want to get a personalized domain name for us.

1] Points system

The point system is a system based on different criteria and allowing users to evaluate.

How are points calculated?

* Points generated by the number of posts
* Points generated by the number of topics created
* Points generated by the number of friends that the user has
* Reputation points
* Points generated by the registration date of the member
* Points generated by the number of message on his profile

2] Reputation system

The reputation system, as you have noticed, is a sub part of the point system. It also works with points.
Reputation is composed of items related to evaluations by users and items related to the feature "Thank you".

When a person thanks you for a post (it helped them etc.) , it can be displaid as a different colour.

Good ideas, though possibly you should weight it so the valuable posts (ie 'reputation posts') are worth far more than simple posts like these, as people shouldn't get points for posting rubbish, regularly.

i am busy looking at that - also the "thank you" will get added points.
So if like someone's post - he will get points.

3] Multi-quote

This option allows you to display or not, a multi-quote button. Now it will be easier to quote several posts at the same time. This button operates on the principle of selection / deselection.

Regarding the points and reputation system.

Do you guys want to run both or just 1 out of the 2?

Also - on your profile i can add your star sign, country flag etc.

So there is loads of new things that i can add, but it is up to you guys.

Will post examples later and we go from there.

But first - points or reputation?

I'd say reputation as reputation deems if the person is respected within the forum.
