New Zealand Scandal

Post by aftershock9 on Fri May 08, 2009 3:12 pm

It has come to our attention that the New Zealand U19 manager has been running multiple teams and using those teams to train players for the U19 side and maintain national team players. He has therefore been removed from his post and will be replaced by the runner-up in the last elections, Shockwave.
All teams belonging to the cheat have been locked, it's not the first time we've approached him about multiple teams, and he is banned from the game. Any trainees in his teams will be lost and we are still discussing the future of any national team players in those teams. Any unfair advantage to the New Zealand international teams will be reduced and the U19 team will be penalised for their manager's conduct.

It also appears that a number of other New Zealand users knew about these multiple teams and yet did not inform the Admin Team via the appropriate Contact Us page. That people should be guilty of so readily accepting cheating within Battrick is worrying and we will be keeping a closer eye on those users in the future. The rules are quite clear on encouraging cheating in the game, we can and will lock accounts if people have supported cheating in Battrick.

We work very hard to ensure fairness for all users in Battrick and cheats will not prosper. Running multiple teams as farms for national or future U19 players will not be allowed to benefit national teams.

There is a moral behind this: DON'T RUN MULTIPLE TEAMS!

Does that mean that they may be penalised points in the WC Qualifiers? Razz.

But seriously, why cheat?? And it sounded like he had like 5 teams, its not hard to be found out

i was on th NZ offsite, but not on the section where he pointed out that he had miltiple accounts.
Knew he was leaving.

Went to IPL, came back , BT was down. Then it hit me from the front page.
He was a very nice person and think he was not thinking.

My cousin has a team and training a player hard. he logs on etc. But has been wanting to stop.I have bugged him etc to stay logged on at least once a week.

It just happens, but he should not have let it go on for so long!
Dixon - the one player was an Dual Nat player from my YP.

Luckily i did not know that was going on!
